While Testing Capacity Is Ramped Up, Nurses, First Responders Struggle With Access To Equipment

Testing is beginning to ramp up across California. Governor Newsom reported an over 84% increase in tests since Wednesday. However, many nurses are complaining they are unable to receive tests, even though they are treating coronavirus patients on a daily basis. This comes on top of firefighters, who, as first responders, are asked to take their temperature 3 times a day. However, the SFFD has reported they need 100 more thermometers for firemen.
