San Francisco Looks To Rent over 3,500 Hotel Room For Homeless During COVID-19 Crisis

As hotels have emptied-some have reported occupancy as low as 10%-San Francisco’s city government has moved in to lease out hotel space to house the homeless. Many prominent hotels are bidding for contracts from the city to house the homeless in this time of crisis. The city is looking for 3,500 rooms, with that number likely to increase as demand will go up.
