Vision Zero is still only a Vision as San Francisco reports its first pedestrian death of the year

80 year old San Francisco resident David Chow was struck by a car at O’Farrell and Polk Stret on Friday night and tragically passed away. While details of the incident are still scant, SFMTA has begun exploring options to improve safety at the intersection, hoping to bring SF closer to its Vision Zero goal of zero traffic fatalities.
