Airline food workers at SFO will be voting today on whether or not to strike as labor negotiations are underway with several major airlines. Workers in airline kitchens say they deserve higher pay and better benefits as many struggle to make ends meet.

UNITE HERE Local 2, the union that represents 2,100 of the SFO employees who prepare the airplane meals, says less than half the workers at SFO have health insurance and make a median wage of $18.66 per hour.
