Uber’s highly anticipated initial public offering yesterday fell short - trading began at $42 per share, below the offering price of $45, and closed at $41.57, leaving the company worth $69.8 billion rather than the $75 billion its private investors had expected.  Financial analysts suggest the dip could be due in part to Uber’s years of financial losses, and investors already nervous about the escalating trade war with China.
