Prop C Opponents File Documentation in Hopes of Killing Tax

Last fall, San Francisco voters approved Proposition C, which levied a tax on the City's highest-earning businesses to go towards housing and homeless services.

This week, opponents of the measure filed court documents arguing that the passage of the measure with only a majority vote (rather than 2/3) is contrary to a state law. They hope to keep the measure from being enacted.
