A group of over 50 tenants occupying a workspace in the Mission are facing eviction due to zoning, and Supervisor Hillary Ronen sought to reassure them that she's doing everything she can to keep them from being evicted.

It was recently revealed that the Mission building ActivSpace, which provides work spaces for over 50 entrepreneurs, is not zoned for the type of work most of these business owners do. Now, they are concerned with being displaced. Supervisor Ronen has reassured these tenants that her office is working with the office of the City Attorney and other agencies in the hopes of finding a legislative fix.
