HUD Grants SF $44.5M to Fight Homelessness

San Francisco is getting more money this year, than any other county in California, from the federal government to fight homelessness.  The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development has given the City $44.5 million this year, the majority of which - $38M - is allocated for 47 permanent supportive housing projects.
