Dept. of Police Accountability Recommends Changes - Will Cops Listen?

The Department of Police Accountability released a report detailing improvements in three areas at SFPD: body cameras, search warrant policies, and system for reporting sexual assaults. However, the police department has no legal obligation to act on these recommendations, and past reports have been ignored by the department, according to a 2016 review of SFPD practices by the Obama Justice Department.
