CalRecycle has awarded a contract worth up to $250 million to Tetra Tech, the questionable contractor at the center of the Hunter’s Point Naval Shipyard controversy, to clean up an approximate 8 million tons of debris from the devastating Camp Fire. Total costs for cleaning up the Camp Fire are expected to top $3 billion.

Maybe they’re better at cleaning up physical debris rather than radioactive particulate matter - at least, that seems to be the thinking at CalRecycle.
