SF\'s Short-Term Budget Projections Look Great, Long-Term Less So

While the immediate future is still particularly rosy for San Franciscans, the budget may well be hurtling towards a deficit in the long term, according to economists. 

Economic growth has been robust, but rising employee costs and voter-approved set-asides mean that the City's general fund revenue is being outpaced.

Mayor London Breed has advocated for moderate changes and cuts now, to avoid more pain being felt in the future.
