City’s Transition to a Post-Costa Hawkins Clime Remains Unclear

In the face of a ballot measure aimed at repealing the controversial Costa-Hawkins housing law, City leaders and activist groups all insist they would have a hand in shaping renters’ futures in the City, but how SF leaders would navigate the change remains to be seen.

Further complicating the situation is San Francisco’s duality between progressive stances on issues and real estate/developer money.
