Seawall Improvements Heading to the Ballot

The Board of Supervisors voted 11-0 to have a measure placed on the November ballot that would authorize the city to make roughly $425 million worth of upgrades to the Embarcadero seawall. The over century old piece of infrastructure is need of updating for the ever present seismic threat we face everyday but also for the long term impacts of sea level rise and climate change.
