The Board of Supervisors unanimously approved legislation mandating the Dept. of Elections to warn non-citizens who register to vote that their information - including name and address - could be obtained by ICE.

This comes in advance of the November election where, for the first time in the city, non-citizens who have children under the age of 19 will be allowed to vote in the school board election.  The Dept. of Elections is set to begin registering non-citizens on July 16th.
