SFPD Town Hall Reveals Officers Fired 100 Rounds at Suspect

Latinx community members, teachers and faith leaders in the Mission expressed anguish and frustration with the SF Police Department after it was revealed that officers fired nearly 100 rounds in the March 6 killing of an armed robbery suspect hiding in the trunk of a car. The SFPD faces mounting scrutiny over several fatal shootings of black and Latinx San Franciscans over the past few years, shootings that prompted the resignation of former SFPD Chief Greg Suhr.
