Discriminatory Behavior? There\'s an App for That.

Uber and Lyft have announced healthcare-oriented transit options after Uber was named in a disability rights class-action lawsuit alleging discriminatory practices against wheelchair-bound passengers in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act.  The options touted in the company's press releases do not mention the wheelchair-bound, who have seen the number of para-transit-ready vehicles diminish during the rise of ride-hail taxi services. 

Supervisor Peskin, the Chair of the San Francisco County Transportation Authority Board  calls the move '..too little too late'.
