London Breed Shuffles the Deck

In what's being seen by many as retribution for last month's interim mayoral vote, Board President London Breed has moved around three progressive supervisors who were instrumental in her being ousted from the Mayor's Office in favor of Mark Farrell.

Supervisors Hillary Ronen, Aaron Peskin, and Norman Yee were all removed or demoted from committees they sat on. Ronen will no longer chair the Public Safety and Neighborhood Services Committee; Peskin is no longer part of the Land Use and Transportation Committee; and Norman Yee has been dropped from being a permanent member of the Budget Committee and will now serve as a "temporary member" until the budget is passed in June.

Just another boring day in San Francisco politics.
