A six-figure haul a year out for one candidate, a second bite at the apple for another, a new face vowing to stay competitive, and a former Supervisor waiting in the wings all converge on the District 2 Supervisor's race.

But it's not all champagne wishes and caviar dreams for the candidates in this tony district; allegations of 'position hopping', vows to self-fund, and a ballot measure to prevent potential contenders from competing keep these candidates on their toes, while a dearth of apparent policy differences between candidates thus far point to a race focused more on style.
